This picture is of ours hosts in Migori.
From left: Milton and Florence who's home we were blessed to stay in, Donald with Vineyard Technolgies and elder at St. John's Parish and Samuel who is a seminary student serving at St. John's. We truly enjoyed our time in Migori and can only hope they were as blessed by us as we were by them! -Drew and Scott.

Pe Hill Boys School students in test class of the Nuehaus Center's Developing Metacognative Skills course. Our goal is to use some of the methods directly with students before we train the teachers in the class. Here, they are listening to a story about a cat, a chicken, and some dogs. Hint: there are no foxes in Africa.

Wednesday Update

Drew and I had a good day in Migori. God be praised that Drew is feeling better! We spent 8 hours driving today with Inter-Dioceses Christian Community Services (IDCCS) looking at several self-sustaining projects. We met with adults and kids a like. We were truly touched and blessed by a young boy named Obama, an eight year old at a small school near the boarder of Tanzania. He voluntarily led his classmates in a worship song, it was such a spirit filled moment. We are both very tired, dirty and a bit stinky but we feel so blessed to be here with our Christian Brothers and Sisters here in Kenya. Good night and may God bless you all! -Scott

Pe-Hill Boys High School

Monday Update

Drew and I have had a relaxing day with Stewart the pastor from St. Paul's Parish in Pe-Hill. We had to earn our food today as I killed a Rooster with Drew recording the ordeal. This evening we head to the Pe-Hill Boys High School for a Q & A session with the students during their afternoon break. We are hoping to get a game of football with them as well. Tomorrow we are off to Migori for four days. We are a bit sad to be leaving Pe-Hill as Stewart and the entire community has been so gracious and loving to us. Pray for safe travel for all of us as Adam and Dave will also be traveling tomorrow. May the love of Christ be with you all. -Scott

Choir

Drew and I enjoyed the worship experiece at Ndonyo. The choir from St. Paul's Parish in Pe-Hill recently won first place in a contest in Nairobi. We are unable at this time to upload the footage from today's service so you must trust me, the worship experience has been amazing. Our team is doing well, just a few bumps and bruises from bota bota rides today of 14 kilometers. God Bless -Scott
